1st Grade Animal Pixies
First grade students at Laburnum and Trevvett have been working on Animal Pixies. I gave them a template which you can download here. They typed their name at the top, identified the different animal coverings in the Word Art, took a picture of their face, drew their body with the paint tool, found a sticker of an animal, and recorded themselves telling about the animal. They had to tell whether it was wild or tame, where it lived, what its body covering was, and how it moved. You can see a student sample here.
