Today in third grade, students worked on extending patterns with input and output.  This is a lesson that was created with the math coach Debi Godfrey and myself in Pixie.  Students have to make predictions and find the pattern and rule for the input and output.    Click below if you’d like to do the lessons in your class.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  Dr. Seuss’ real name is Theodor Seuss Geisel.  If he were still alive he’d be 110!  I must say, my favorite book is “Green Eggs and Ham.” Below is a folder of some great Dr. Seuss activities created by myself and Jessical DelMonte, another elementary ITRT.  I hope you enjoy!

Don’t forget about the Seussville site!

Dr. Suess Activities

Just found this YouTube video of Tim Tebow reading “Green Eggs and Ham.”  How fun!

Here is a whole Pintrest board dedicated to Dr. Seuss.
