The librarian, Mrs. Irving, and myself collaborated today to do a Pixie famous American lesson with all of the second grade classes.  Mrs. Bell’s, Mr. Applegate’s, Mrs. Hill’s, and Mrs. Edgerton’s students made trading cards of their famous American.  Before my visit today, Mrs. Irving had all the students work as partners to research Jackie Robinson, Abraham Lincoln, Susan B. Anthony, George Washington, and Helen Keller.  Their trading cards turned out fantastic!!!!
