Mrs. Slayton, the librarian, and Ms. Childress, the first grade trailblazers teacher created a research project for the first graders to do.  The project is on the famous Americans George Washing, Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington Carver.   The students used books and  OneSearch to do their research.  I assisted at the computer station.  I was amazed at all the facts the students were finding.
