Today was SPOOKTACULAR in Third Grade!  It was awesome!  I have never had so much fun.  We did an online elluminate lesson with the math and science center.  We learned about bats and spiders.  The students were able to touch real bats!

Fourth grade students at Baker learned how to graph the weather in Keynote.  They collected data on the weather with their science teacher in their science notebooks.  They then input their data into Keynote and made some terrific graphs.  Check out their graphs below. Today I worked with a fabulous group of fourth graders on some terrific keynote projects.  They did research on Petit Phillipe, the Twin Towers, and dare devils of Niagara Falls.  Their research was very interesting and I helped them begin putting their research into Keynotes. Mrs. Fitzgerald’s kindergarten class had an introductory lesson on the laptops today.  We did the website  http://www.poissonrouge.com/bugs/index.html.  The students worked on trackpad control.
