Mrs. Hobb’s first grade class played Jeopardy as a review today.  The student’s loved seeing the funny pictures when they clicked the correct answer and heard the child laugh in delight.  The students were very focused and worked hard to get the correct answers.

Mrs. Mason’s first graders celebrated Earth Day with a Pixie activity. Students sorted materials into different categories: recycle, reduce, reuse, trash. Ms. Hanks’ first grade enrichment groups did a Pixie activity where they had to find words that began with the same sounds. The students had to search for pictures and type the words. Mrs. Beagle’s and Mrs. Moore’s kindergarten classes worked on patterns.  Students completed patterns and created their own patterns in Pixie.

Mrs. Harrison’s first grade students did an awesome job in Pixie drawing and labeling a flower.  The students had to draw the entire flower on their own and insert text boxes to type in each part of the flower.

Mrs. Stephens first graders celebrated Earth Day a little early. The students worked on a Pixie lesson and had to decide if they should recycle, trash, re-use, or reduce the item. The activity was very thought provoking and the students did a fabulous job!

All kindergarten classes did a lesson in Pixie on Spring.  Students had to sort pictures into the correct season.  All the kindergartens in Ms. Lenzi’s, Ms. Meyers, Ms. Wodson, and Mrs. Botteicher’s classes did a fabulous job clicking, dragging, and classifying items into the correct season.
