Ms. Schemmel’s class made snowflakes today.  They made beautiful snowflakes.  Ms. Schemmel talked about patterns and symmetry.  We used the site:   http://snowflakes.barkleyus.com/ Ms. Meade’s third grade class made spreadsheets in Numbers.  They graphed the class’ birthdays.

Baker 12/15/08

Donahoe 12/10/08

Today in Mrs. Collin’s class, the second graders did a Native American sort in Pixie.  Students first compared the Pueblo Indians to the Sioux Indians.  Then the students compared all three tribes:  Sioux, Pueblo, Powhatan. Today at Baker, the first grade classes worked on Goods and Services. The first graders in Mr. Hawthorne’s, Mrs. Mason’s, and Mrs. Feltcher’s classes had to find stickers in Pixie and decide if they were goods or services. They did a fabulous job.
