Henrico 21
By Mike. Filed in News |
One of Henrico County Public Schools’ core beliefs is that, “Students should develop 21st century skills.” The community also made this one of our top priorities through this year’s Community Priorities Workshop.
Henrico County is pleased to announce an exciting new program that recognizes HCPS
teachers and students who adhere to this core belief. The Division of Instruction
has developed HENRICO 21, the first annual awards program recognizing
teachers and students who produce outstanding lessons and products that
exemplify teaching and learning in the 21st century.
All HCPS teachers are encouraged to submit lessons/activities that typify 21st
century learning to be considered for one of fifteen HENRICO 21 awards.
HENRICO 21 awards will be presented at a gala ceremony modeled after the
Academy Awards. The ceremony will take place May 25, 2010 at Hermitage
High School, starting at 6 p.m.

Thanks for the additional PR. We’re getting some good stuff but could always use more.
No problem!! I think it is GREAT and want to make sure teachers take advantage of the opportunity! I have also put it on my 21st Century Skills blog, but I’m not sure how many people visit that one…
