5th grade students have been watching Brain Pop to learn about the ocean habitat. They decided why not make their own Brain Pop movies. They are now in the middle of their projects. They are using Keynote and the many functions available to them to animate objects and convert to a quicktime movie. Here is a very quick project used as an example.

Kg classes at Johnson Elementary raised butterflies from an egg to adult life. They learned quite a bit about the life cycle of a butterfly. Now it is time to set them free. Take a look at how excited the butterflies were and the students. Take time to let the students learn outside with nature. They will love you forever.

Well, my Kg daughter was home sick with strep again. However, that won’t keep us from learning. Her teacher said they were studying about magnets so I took advantage of the Motrin working for a couple of hours so she and I created a magnet movie for you. Think about doing this with your students who are feeling well. Enjoy.
